Our Vision

To bring tobacco farmers of our region closer to the importers/manufacturers of tobacco raw materials and cigarette manufacturers, involving them in export projects through business participation, land lease, technical and material cooperation in order to surpass them in varities, quality and stability of supplies from our region to the world market of tobacco raw materials.

Company history

In 1996, Mr. Mohammad Ali, a private entrepreneur who is currently a shareholder of the company, was involved in the cigarette trade in Ukraine. After 15 years of successful experience in the field of trade, he has mastered the niche of importing tobacco raw materials to Ukraine from Pakistan. In 2011, the first batch of tobacco was delivered to Ukraine, gradually the volume of exports increased, and the geography of exports expanded to Eastern Europe, Belgium, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Central Asia and Indonesia. Various partners with different business names were involved in the process, such as Dardyal Private limited, Swat Tobacco SMC (PVT) Ltd, Tabak Importer (PVT)Ltd. In 2017, the group ranked fourth in the top ten largest exporters from Pakistan.

The COVID-19 epidemic and, subsequently, the conflict in Ukraine have left their negative imprint on the successful conduct of business. To cope with such crises, the partners decided to create a new joint company with a new pragmatic vision aimed at preventing or minimizing such crises

Can I get samples of your tobacco products?

Yes, samples are available at a symbolic price of $1/kg. The invoice will indicate that the commodity is supplied as a sample and does not have commercial value. The parcel will include a phytosanitary certificate and a certificate of origin. Shipping costs are covered by the customer, refundable upon a successful deal.

What is cooperative farming and how does Elum Tobacco implement it?

Cooperative farming at Elum Tobacco involves partnering with small farmers to ensure quality and stable supplies of tobacco. This joint farming initiative is managed through our cooperative farming structure, Dardyal Agro Leasing, making us the only Pakistani company exporting tobacco grown on our own farms.
